To faith and hope and charity
is wisdom giving clarity
the moon like ending fears and doubt
by comforting and making stout.
A mother like she sees to hers,
prepares, explains when dawn occurs.
The stars insistence upon fate
she renders useless, mother faith.
The stars insistent need to cope
she renders useless, mother hope,
the sun by proud affording birth
to nice and novel on the earth.
The sun in this respect is Christ.
The moon He marries every night.
And wisdom apprehend His ways.
Together they will make my days.
