Alone, possessed, and scared to pain
intrusion by and love in vain
I lost my faith in human kind
myself a strong man, in my mind.
No chance at all a man can cope
with angels sent to ruin hope.
No person there to blame, you see.
In fear I found relief. Tihi!
The girl in me a precious stone,
a diamond, to me, not my own –
myself ingeniously made
by me and mine surviving raid.
The girl in me a pearl God given,
the growing out from being even,
an even being pruned, you see.
